By using those specific services, you agree to comply with any such additional guidelines, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

When using Purple Block Services, you agree to comply with the following rules and commitments. You are responsible for your own conduct and any content or data that you provide or generate through the use of our Services. In particular, you agree to the following rules:

Lawful Purposes:

You will only use the Services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use the Services in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.

Prohibited Activities:

You agree not to:

• Abuse or Disrupt the Service: Do not engage in any activity that could harm or disrupt our Services (or the networks and systems connected to the Services). This includes not introducing viruses, worms, malware, or any other harmful code. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our systems, other users' accounts, or any feature that you do not have rights to access. Also, do not attack our Services via a denial-of-service attack or similar.
• Reverse Engineering: Do not decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to extract the source code of our software or APIs, except to the extent such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.
• Automated Access: Unless specifically allowed, you should not use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from our Services. Reasonable use of our API by authorized developers is permitted under separate API terms, but scraping our website or overloading our Services with automated requests is not allowed.

User Content Standards:

If you are permitted to post, upload, or submit content (such as through a user forum, blog comments, or by uploading data to a SaaS platform), you agree that your content will comply with the following:

• It will not include anything that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy, or otherwise injurious or objectionable.
• You have all necessary rights to submit the content and to grant the licenses to us described in these Terms.
• The content does not contain any personal data of others without appropriate consent, and does not violate any confidentiality or contractual obligations you might have.

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, monitor, or remove user content at our discretion, for example if it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. However, you remain solely responsible for any content you provide.

Interaction with Others:

If our Services enable communication or collaboration among users (for example, a community forum or multi-user collaboration in a SaaS tool), you must always interact respectfully. Do not engage in any form of hate speech, bullying, or harassment. We may moderate user interactions but are not liable for the conduct of any user.

Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, or allow you to integrate with third-party services. For example:

• We might link to external websites in blog posts or documentation.
• We might provide an option to log in using a third-party identity provider (like Google or GitHub).
• Our Service might integrate with third-party platforms or tools for added functionality (for instance, a plugin that works within a third-party software environment).

Third-Party Websites:

If you follow a link to any third-party website or service, please understand that those are outside of our control. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for any third-party sites, information, materials, products, or services. Your dealings or interactions with third parties (including any that may be integrated with our Service) are solely between you and the third party. Visiting third-party sites or using third-party services is at your own risk, and those sites/services will have their own terms of use and privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

Purple Block is not liable for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of third-party websites or services. However, we value the integrity of our platform and welcome feedback about third-party links or integrations (for example, if a link is broken or a third-party integration is causing issues).

Third-Party Integrations:

If Purple Block offers integration with third-party services (such as an API connection to another platform), note that:

• We might share certain data with the third-party service as needed (as explained in our Privacy Policy and with your consent where required).
• The third-party service may have access to your account or data to the extent you authorize the integration. We are not responsible for how the third-party uses that data; that usage is governed by their agreement with you.
• We may discontinue any third-party integration at any time if, for example, the third-party ceases to make their service available in a manner necessary for integration, or if there are security or legal concerns.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Purple Block or its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, or special damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation of liability applies to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Cap on Liability:

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Purple Block's total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount, if any, that you have paid to us for the use of the Service in the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability; or (b) USD $100 (or equivalent in local currency) if you have not had any payment obligations to Purple Block.

This means that if you have not paid anything to Purple Block for the use of the Services, our liability to you would be capped at $100 (to the maximum extent allowed by law). If you have paid for services, our liability is limited to what you paid, but in no case will it exceed the cap stated here.

Release:

To the extent permitted by law, you release Purple Block and its affiliates from all liability for you having acquired or not acquired content or information through the Services. You specifically release us from any claims or liability related to third-party content or third-party sites (including any content that is misleading, incomplete, offensive, or harmful, or any malware or other issues that arise from use of third-party content or sites).

Termination

By Purple Block:

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services (or any part of them), or terminate these Terms, at our discretion at any time, with or without notice. For example, we may do so if: (a) you have breached any provision of these Terms or we reasonably suspect you have (if the breach is curable, we may give you an opportunity to cure it); (b) we are required to do so by law or a regulatory requirement; (c) we discontinue the Service or a material part of it; or (d) there is an unexpected technical or security issue or problem. Termination may include removal or deletion of your account or content you provided.

By You:

You may terminate your account and stop using the Services at any time. If you wish to delete your account, you can contact us at support@purpleblock.com or use any account deletion interface that may be provided.

Effect of Termination:

Upon termination for any reason:

• Your right to access or use the Services will immediately cease.
• We may deactivate or delete your account and all associated data (except to the extent we are required or allowed to retain it under the Privacy Policy or applicable law). It is your responsibility to retrieve any important data you have stored on the Service prior to termination.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, governing law, etc.) will continue to apply.

Termination of your access to the Service (whether by you or us) will not waive or affect any other right or relief to which we may be entitled at law or in equity.

Other Important Terms

Entire Agreement:

These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific services you use) constitute the entire agreement between you and Purple Block regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings (whether written or oral) relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

Waiver and Severability:

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Assignment:

You may not assign or transfer these Terms (or any of your rights or obligations hereunder) without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law, or otherwise at our discretion.

No Agency Relationship:

These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Purple Block. Neither party has authority to bind the other or incur obligations on the other's behalf.

Force Majeure:

Purple Block will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform as required by these Terms due to events outside Purple Block's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, supply shortages, epidemics, strikes, internet or utility failures, or governmental actions.
